LI ASTROS 19U College team win RYO/PAL BOS July 4th Tournament! Jared Mancini throws 6 innings (1 hit / 8 K's) of shutout baseball vs PAL Seminoles on Sunday 7/4 as the Astros win a 2-0 ballgame for the Championship. Zach Badanes shuts the door with a scoreless 7th for the save as Peter Magistrale (1B) and Ryan Rusoff (2B) deliver RBI hits in the win. James Wegge throws a complete game vs Paveco Black in a 5-3 Astros win and Anthony Repetto the complete game win vs the LI Lions in a 6-2 victory as the Astros win all 3 tournament games over the July 4th weekend.

The Astros win the opener of the July 4th tournament behind Anthony Repetto who goes the distance for the W allowing 2 earned on 7 hits. Mike Cunningham doubles home 2 runs in the 1st while also adding an RBI triple in the 4th inning. Kevin Primm (2 RBI) adds a run scoring single in the 1st as the Astros jump out to an early 3 run lead of which they would not relinquish. Lefty James Wegge throws the complete game for the W allowing 2 first inning runs and settling down nicely thereafter.
