The Astros managed 10 hits on the day but fell a run short after rallying for 2 runs in the 7th inning. Matt Lynn had his finest outing of the season and kept the Astros in the game, costly errors and baserunning blunders took the Astros out of a couple of big innings. On the offense David Bernardi (2 singles), Mike Sausto (single, double & 2RBI's), Daniel Levine (2 singles & 3 RBI's), Matt Lynn (2 singles), Daniel Dallal (single & RBI) and Joe Barrett (single) accounted for the offense.

Game #2 Dodgers 6 Astros 5
OUCH, that hurt!!! The Astros dropped the nightcap and lost both ends of this double-header by 1 run. TJ Arsenault was locked in a pitchers duel as the score was even at 1-1 going into the 7th, the Dodgers scored 5 runs in their half as the Astros rallied for 4 runs in the bottom half of the 7th to lose 6-5. It is days like this that give me gray hair!!!
On the offensive side Joe Barrett singled twice, ran the bases with abandon and played a stellar centerfield. Mike Sausto, Dan McEnery and David Bernardi added run scoring singles while Matt Lynn and Daniel Dallal also singled.
