Behind the incredible pitching of Brent Williams the Falcons won the opener and beat the 1st place St. Joseph Dodgers 3-0!!! Brent threw a complete game 5 hit/8 strikeout shutout. The Falcons played superb defense behind Brent and came to the ballpark ready to play today. Contributing on the offensive side were Daniel Dallal(2 hits/RBI), Paul Chung (1 hit), Matt Lynn (1 hit/2 RBI's), Mike Sausto (1 hit), Daniel Levine (1 hit), David Bernardi (1 hit) and Ryan Rusoff (1 hit). Great Game Falcons!!!

In the nightcap the Falcons rallied late with 4 runs in the 5th inning but were unable to catch the Dodgers and dropped a 9-6 decision. The Falcons played sloppily on defense as Matt Lynn deserved better while toting the rubber. We were strong on the offensive side in this game as Brent Williams (2 hits/2B/RBI), David Bernardi (2 hits/2 2B/2 RBI), Ryan Rusoff (2 hits/RBI), Daniel Dallal (2 hits/RBI), Paul Chung (2B), Jason Dispaltro (2 hits) and Robbie Dispaltro (1 hit) all contributed. Matt Lynn also accounted for an RBI.
