Matt Lynn pitched a masterful game throwing a complete game 4 hit / 8 strikeout shutout!!! Matt also contributed 2 singles at the dish for an all-around excellent performance. Ryan Rusoff and Mookie Giardino added 2 hits each while Brent Williams, Jonathan Combs, Daniel Dallal, Jason Dispaltro and Daniel Levine added hits as well. The Falcons played strong defensively behind Matt to preserve the shutout. Go Falcons!

After a masterful opener the Falcons got sloppy and lost a heartbreaker. Poor pitching and shoddy defense allowed a resilient Bayport team to outscore us by 1 run and earn a split of the doubleheader. Ryan Rusoff led the offensive charge at the dish with a 3 hit (1 double) and 3 RBI performance while David Bernardi also added 3 hits (2 doubles). Matt Lynn added 2 hits (1 double) and 2 RBI's. Other contributors were Dean Miller who had a 2 run single, Mookie Giardino with a single and 2 RBI's, Jonathan Combs with a single & RBI, Daniel Levine with a single & RBI, and Paul Chung with a single. Jason Dispaltro added 2 RBI's while Robbie Dispaltro & Brent Williams also added RBI's.
