Game # 1 Astros 6 Reds 5 WP Joe Lawrence (2-0) / Save TJ Arsenault (1)

The Astros and Reds played evenly for almost the entire ballgame as Joe Lawrence pitched 6 workmanlike innings and kept us in the ballgame every step of the way in picking up his 2nd victory of the season as the Astros rally for 2 runs in the 6th inning in defeating the Reds 6-5. TJ Arsenault not only delivered the winning run with a clutch hit in the 6th but he also picked up his 1st save with a perfect inning of relief. Joe Lawrence smashed a 2 run double in helping his own cause as Scott Mishan (2B/RBI), Ryan Rusoff (RBI), Dave Bernardi and Ethan Peck all adding hits as well.

Game #2 Astros 12 Reds 2 WP Junior Fair (2-1)

The Astros come out a swingin and score EIGHT 1st inning runs on their way to a 12-2 (5 inning run rule) victory!! Junior Fair pitched in and out of trouble early but settled down and throws the complete game for his 2nd victory of the season. Beautiful defensive plays by Cam Maron in RF, steady SS play from Matt Malley and strong defense behind the plate by Ethan Peck add up to a sweep of the Reds! Scott Mishan contributes 2 big hits from the 2 hole as Mike Sciortino, TJ Arsenault (RBI), JC Clancy, Ethan Peck (RBI), Ryan Rusoff (2 RBI), Cam Maron (RBI) add hits of their own and Junior Fair (RBI), Zach Root (2 RBI) and Matt Malley (RBI) drive home runs with productive out. Way to go Astros!
